Apple already released a new iPhone this year... remember? The one that works on a CDMA network! You really think they would put all that work into rolling out the CDMA iPhone 4 in February then turn around 4 months later and expect these people to buy an iPhone 5? You know how many pissed off Verizon people there would be? June 2012 at the earliest... ;)

well this kinda goes along with the A-list requirements, for A-list you have to have a high enough minute plan, and if you do, like me, you never end up using your minutes because everyone you call is on your A-list. So I have 9000 rollover minutes... sheesh. And if i drop down a level, I lose all my rollovers, pay a fee, then have to bump it back up the next month anyway. It's just a complicated way of making sure I don't go over my minutes.

So I'll add this new feature tomorrow, and in 3 months I'll have 12000 rollover minutes. Hurray, i guess. :rolleyes:

No, you are mistaken. What you are talking about here is called "retribution", which is not what justice is supposed to be about. There is more evidence to suggest that the death penalty makes things worse for everyone than when it is not employed. One major example of this might be Canada, which has quite a lot of guns, no capital punishment, and is generally a safer place to be (though I cannot vouch for iJohnHenry's neighborhood ;)).

if they are not tracking people then why have the feature? maybe the information is for someone else??... who knows but one thing is for sure its an invasion of privacy..... even if I do stay home all day and night.

Not only that but if it only tracked you for a time and then deleted it self automatically then I could see it but my understanding this is not just one day or week so in theory they can track you for a long time.

For those who do not care fine I don't care what they think, this should be something that can be turned off without loosing other functionality.

I shoot with a canon HV30 which imports as HDV1080i
Will that format be friendly to both editing suites?

Here's the catch tho.
because i shoot in the 24p mode I have to reverse telecine in and because I edit in FCP 99% of the time, I convert it to prores. Does premiere play nice with prores?

Huh? Every Vice President is a Vice President. Serlet has been much of the managerial brains, and the tech brains as well, behind Cocoa. There's a VP of hardware, etc. I guess you tend to hear from them since they're also spokesmen. I assure you, there are lots of coders and PR people and guys in shipping who aren't VPs.

It depends upon who's being grilled. If it's a lowly grunt, I'm against it. Low man on the totem usually knows next to nothing and will give crappy info just to end the torture. If it's a known high ranking big wig, I say bring out the rack, the thumb screws and the iron maiden.;) Get that bad boy to sing like a canary.:cool:
